Free Comic Book Day Signing (or Godzilla apparently vomits urine...)

Ok - files sent to the printers -good to go. Here a couple sketches from my last signing - take note, while quickly working on a Godzilla sketch for someone at the signing I accidentally grabbed a yellow highlighter which resulted in the following disastert...needless to say, I had to keep this one for myself. The red Daredevil sketch was actually done for me by John K. Baxter (Landcross on Twitter) - many thanks.
Gonna be doing a bit of promotion in the next couple weeks - really looking forward to it!

Busy Busy

Crud - so I keep putting off putting up stuff because I'm trying to send the files for First Fight off to the printers this week. Once that's done - I will be sure to post up tons of junk up. FREE COMIC BOOK DAY

This Saturday, May 1st, I will be doing a signing to celebrate Free Comic Book Day. The signing will start off my promotion for the new issue of First Fight at the Comics and More in the King of Prussia Mall from 12-4pm - stop on by and receive a free preview of the new issue plus other goodies!

Conshy Kids Consignment

While working on coloring First Fight #2 I recently helped out a great organization, Conshy Kids Consignment, with some design work they needed. They're a local group which was started by the Conshohocken Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (CE PTO) during the 2009/2010 school year. Their fundraising is community based, meaning that they not only benefits schools but also highlight the importance of "reuse" during Earth Day celebrations.

FIRST FIGHT Issue 2

Here is the first page for issue #2 of First Fight which will be coming out sometime in June as I am steadily lettering and coloring at this point. next month or two. I can't wait to finish up this 30 page comic and start on some new projects I've got lined up.

I'll also have preview artwork of the second issue at the upcoming MOCCA convention in New York. Stay tuned for details :)

AD IN PREVIEWS MAGAZINE

I'm waiting to find out which issue of Previews Magazine my work will be included in but here is a portion of the ad where the Xeric Award recipients are announced. There were 8 artists chosen this year and I am truly honored to be one of those few. I am really psyched about this ad because every comic book store out there checks this magazine in regards to figuring which issues to order. In the next two weeks I will post some artwork from the new issue as well and I am very excited to get this beast done. First Fight #2 will be full color with 30 pages of artwork - no small undertaking I'll tell you. Anyways, thanks to everyone for their support and I can't wait to start working on some of these other projects I have lined up. Peace!

Matrix Fights 1

This last weekend was the Matrix Fights 1 and I was really happy to see the poster I did for the event hanging at the entrance as people filed in. We sat about 25 feet from the cage and had a great view of the bouts for the evening, Here are a couple pictures I took and I am very much looking forward to their next event in June.
